Shooting Stars Earn Over ₦6.6 Million From Southwest Derby Ticket Sales

Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) revealed that they generated ₦6,627,500 in ticket revenue from their recent Southwest derby against Ikorodu City.

The match, held at the Lekan Salami Stadium, drew 8,425 spectators out of a possible 10,000, meaning only a few seats were left unsold. The ticket breakdown included 171 VVIP tickets at ₦5,000 each, 1,097 VIP tickets at ₦2,000, and 7,157 regular tickets priced at ₦500.

3SC described the disclosure of matchday revenue as part of a new management policy aimed at improving transparency. Despite the healthy turnout, the club is still yet to register a win in the opening games of the season.
