Job (Human Resource) Responsibilities:

  • Provide overall leadership and guidance by overseeing talent acquisition
  • Employee career development, training, and leadership development
  • Succession planning
  • Retention programs
  • Serve as a liaison between management and employees by handling questions, interpreting, and helping resolve work-related problems
  • Full cycle recruiting includes creating and posting jobs to various job boards, screening incoming applicants, sourcing candidates from various media outlets, conducting phone interviews to qualify candidates and communicate with department managers on the talent pipeline
  • Plan and conduct new employee orientation to foster a positive attitude toward organizational objectives
  • Oversee benefit and compensation plans to ensure cost efficiencies and attractiveness to retain top talent
  • Administer performance review programs to ensure effectiveness and compliance within the organization
  • Assists with the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
  • Maintains the Employee Handbook ensuring compliance with applicable laws and rules
  • Collaborate with management to fairly address personnel issues in an effective and compliant manner
  • Determine and recommend engagement/retention strategies necessary to maintain a positive employer-employee relationship and promote a high level of employee morale and motivation
  • Monitor employee satisfaction and engagement through various methods such as pulse surveys and stay/exit interviews
  • Coordinate employee events including celebrations, recognition, service awards, and community outreach and support
  • Establish and maintain employee personnel files
