JOB DESCRIPTION
An entry-level position in the metal fabrication business. Using hand tools and industrial machines, removes sharp edges, burrs, and flashing from fabricated metal parts. Must be able to work with power hand tools that produce sparks, vibration, and noise.
REQUIREMENTS
Must be willing to stand, push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds for up to 8 hours a day. Will also load and unload semi-automated sanding machines utilizing wet or dry sanding processes. Use small sanding tools to prepare surfaces for finishing procedures. Work is often dusty in nature. Personal protective equipment will be provided. Requires attention to detail, clocking in and out of work centers, so must be comfortable with basic computer data entry and window navigation. 1-year previous experience and familiarity with ISO and Aerospace requirements helpful but not necessary.
DETAILS
Typical Pay: $15.00 – $16.00 per hour
